The name Dasom means \"love\" in Korean, and this piece was born out of my struggle to connect with the people around me. I felt like I was giving so much love to those in my life, but it wasn’t being received in the way I had hoped, leaving me emotionally drained.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"center\" style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif;\"\u003eLooking back, I realize that I\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 18.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0d3c26; letter-spacing: -.2pt; background: #FAF3EA;\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif;\"\u003ewas offering more of myself than others were able to accept, and in doing so, inadvertently pushing them away. Dasom reflects the pain I was experiencing at the time, and the sense of love being lost or unreciprocated.
