I built this piece around the ribcage, spine, and pelvis — the parts of the body that hold us up, even when they hurt, even when we feel fragile. Dandelions remind me of resilience, the way they grow anywhere, against anything, carrying wishes in their seeds. Calendula and aloe bring comfort and care; they soothe, mend, and soften what has been worn down.
