Adaliah

Adaliah, Deidre, Perdita is a small series about grief, loss, and the isolation that follows. Each figure is alone with what remains, curled inward, holding something that cannot heal them but cannot be let go of.

Adaliah, whose name means kindness and refuge, clutches a pillow covered in eyes. It is comfort and exposure at once. To be held and watched. To be seen, judged, and made vulnerable even in moments meant for rest. Refuge here is uneasy, and safety is never guaranteed.

Deidre, the wanderer, curls around a small galaxy, holding wonder and heartbreak at the same time. Grief stretches inward and outward, vast and intimate, leaving the body drifting through something endless.

Perdita, whose name means lost, clutches the skeleton of a baby, a quiet and devastating symbol of absence that cannot be filled.

Together, these pieces sit with grief as a living presence.
