Lalora came from a moment when I could no longer keep everything contained. What I was holding inside began to leak out, dark and heavy, as if my emotions had turned poisonous once they were exposed.

This piece lives in that loss of control, when vulnerability feels messy and dangerous, and you are afraid of what might escape if you stop holding it together.
